What is laser technology?

Laser technology is a relatively new method, but it is used in a wide range of industries and sectors today. There are constantly new ways to utilize the many advantages of laser technology, which is both more environmentally friendly, efficient, and precise compared to traditional methods in the industry.

Approved for the Danish and European market

LASR is the only Danish company specialized in laser technology. Today, we supply laser machines for laser cleaning, laser welding, and laser cutting. All necessary safety approvals have been implemented in our LASR machines, which are adapted and approved for the Danish and European market.

LASR is your guarantee that we have personally optimized all machines, both in terms of design, functionality, and safety. This way, both we and the users of the product can meet the safety requirements and get the most out of laser technology.

Laser technology is not dangerous to use, but we want to help our customers get started with the technology in the best possible way. Therefore, all our machines are sold with a 7-day setup and training program, ensuring that the customer is familiar with the machine before we leave. In addition to Danish quality and standards, we offer Danish service/support, and all spare parts are available in a warehouse in Denmark.

About LASR

We were tasked with creating a stainless steel design kitchen for BIG by Bjarke Ingels. It had to appear 100% perfect - in addition to the polished surfaces and rounded edges, the plates had to be welded together as drawers and a countertop with a sink. TIG welding would cause the plates to become uneven, so we had to spend many hours on post-processing. With LASR, we found the perfect solution - fast, easy, and sustainable! The quality after welding was exactly what we had hoped for, and it was easy and quick to use. LASR delivered and had a very flexible approach to helping us with this exciting task.

Behind LASR is Uffe Lauge Jensen, who in recent years has specialized in intelligent cleaning through laser technology, and now also laser welding. Today, LASR is the first company in Denmark to offer this type of cleaning and welding through approved laser technology.

Uffe Lauge has a long career as a self-employed entrepreneur, where as the owner of the company HYDRIVE, he was involved in revolutionizing the cleaning of fuel engines with hydrogen for many years.

The mission to use laser technology to optimize industrial processes and improve the environment is now continued in LASR, where Uffe once again uses his insights in technological solutions to optimize conditions for industrial cleaning and welding.
