What and how much can laser cleaning remove?
There are virtually no limits to what a laser machine can clean, and there are still undiscovered potentials. At LASR, we have experience in cleaning all types of paint, rust, IR, grease and oil. In addition, the laser can remove material in corners that other tools or abrasives cannot reach. The laser protects the surface being cleaned, making it possible to only remove the unwanted material. Depending on the model, the laser can also be adjusted in power, wavelength and pulse length, with the width of the cleaned area ranging from 0.5 - 10 cm.

There are different sizes depending on which model is right for your business. The weight of the different models ranges from 17 - 300 kg. See more here.
How much energy does the machine use?
Our lasers use anywhere between 1-7 kW/h, equivalent to 7-25 kr./h (based on energy prices for a regular household in 2021). Read about how much different types of lasers use here.
Is laser cleaning harmful to the environment?
Laser technology is one of the most environmentally friendly means of material cleaning, compared to other traditional methods such as the use of strong chemicals and grinding tools. The laser machine itself uses minimal power, and at the same time, it vacuums up excess particles. Additionally, the laser improves indoor air quality and the environment, as it also has minimal noise levels.
